Up for auction on Bring a Trailer is this 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT, a genuine Stepnose project with extensive restoration work already completed. Originally acquired by the current owner in 2012, this AR614903 chassis was stripped, media-blasted, and underwent necessary unibody repairs before being repainted in silver, while the exterior panels and doors remain in gray powder-coat primer.
Drivetrain & Suspension
Engine: Incomplete 2.0L Twin Spark inline-four, sourced from a late-1980s Alfa Romeo 75, requiring a rebuild. The block and eight-valve head have been hot-tanked in preparation for sale.
Transmission: Five-speed manual, reportedly from a late-1980s Series 3 Alfa Romeo Spider.
Differential: Rebuilt limited-slip differential.
Suspension: Bilstein shocks with aftermarket springs installed at all four corners.
Wheels & Tires: 14" Daytona-style alloy wheels wrapped in 185/70 Laufenn tires, with a matching spare in the trunk.
Interior & Features
The stripped cabin has been repaired and fitted with a roll bar and replacement floorboards.
